- Launch Microsoft Word and get the voucher ready.
- Just delete the line you wish to remove by clicking on it.
- To delete something, press the Delete button on your keyboard.
- It would be best if you saved the modifications to the document.
To make changes to a voucher, access the voucher in question and make the necessary edits there. After you have finished making the necessary adjustments, select “Save.
To remove an entry from a voucher, open the voucher and select the “Delete” button from the toolbar.
The following procedures need to be taken in order to delete a row in a journal entry using Tally:
Go to the entry in the journal from which you would like to delete a row.
To open the menu bar, press the F7 key.
Simply select the “Delete Row” option.
There will be a notice asking for confirmation that appears. To delete the row, select the “Yes” option.
The following procedures need to be taken in order to add a line in between a voucher in Tally:
To access the journal, select “F5” from the Gateway of Tally’s Accounting Vouchers menu.
Choose the date, then hit the “Enter” button.
To generate a fresh coupon, you can do so by pressing Alt+A.
In the column labeled “Particulars,” enter the name of the voucher and the amount that it is for.
Choose the account that you wish the amount to be deducted from under the Contra heading.
In Tally, navigate to the Gateway of Tally > Accounts Details > Voucher Types in order to delete a voucher type.
After making your selection, use the Delete key to get rid of the voucher type.
You will see a popup asking for confirmation; if you want to delete the voucher type, select the Yes button.
You will need to access the voucher report in order to view the vouchers. Using the voucher entry page is required in order to make changes to or delete any of the vouchers.
The following procedures need to be taken in order to cancel a voucher in Tally Prime:
To access the journal, select “F9” from the Gateway of Tally’s Accounting Vouchers menu.
Choose the coupon you want to cancel in the Journal Voucher page, then hit Enter after making your selection.
When you are seeing the Voucher Information screen, use the F7 key to cancel the voucher.
At the Cancellation screen, you will need to enter the appropriate information before pressing the Enter button.
Before you can delete a ledger, you need to double check to make sure that no transactions are currently utilizing it in any way. Once you have determined that the ledger is not currently being used, you are able to delete it by heading to the “Ledgers” page and selecting the “Delete” button that is located next to the ledger that you do not wish to keep.
Choose Inventory Features > Vouchers > Remove Vouchers from the drop-down menu in the Gateway of Tally.
The screen for deleting vouchers looks like the one shown below:
After making your selection(s), hit the Enter key to remove the voucher(s).
Both the voucher registry and the inventory ledger are updated to reflect the removal of the selected voucher(s).
Alt + D is the keyboard shortcut for deleting an entry in Tally.
On the Vouchers page, there is a button labeled “Cancel Voucher” that you can use to cancel a voucher.
Open the voucher you want to change or remove, and then click the Edit or Delete button on the toolbar that appears.
